Dr. Maxx Gallegos

Dr. Maxx Gallegos is a Reconstructive Urologist and an Associate Professor of Urology in the Department of Surgery at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in Albuquerque, NM. Here he also serves as the Director of Genital/Urinary Reconstructive Surgery, Associate Resident Program Director, Director of Operations for the Urology Service and Director of Urologic Medical Student Education within the Division of Urology.

Dr. Gallegos earned a medical degree from The University of Kansas School of Medicine in 2011, Residency at The University of New Mexico and completed a fellowship with Crane Center’s very own, Richard Santucci, MD. For a stretch in his career, he worked as a reconstructive urologist at Detroit Medical Center in Michigan.

Dr. Gallegos offers Primary and Revision Robotic Peritoneal Flap Vaginoplasty, Penile Inversion Vaginoplasty, Orchiectomy, Vulvoplasty, Metodioplasty, Phalloplasty, Urethroplasty, Scrotoplasty, Glansplasty, Testicular Implants, Penile Implants, and Revision of Complications of both Masculinization and Feminizing Bottom Surgery. 

 

Dr. Gallegos practices exclusively with the Crane Center in Boulder, Colorado.

Dr. Gallegos is a Fellow of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and a member of the American College of Surgeons.
