Dr. Kenan Celtik is a fellowship trained gender affirming genital surgeon and reconstructive urologist with 15 years of advanced education and surgical training. He is a graduate of the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital Fellowship in Reconstructive Urology, Urologic Prosthetics and Gender Affirming Genital Surgery under the tutelage of Drs. Miroslav Djordjevic, Rajveer Purohit and Robert Valenzuela, as well as the team of world-renowned robotic surgeons at Mount Sinai. His fellowship training was entirely focused on gender affirming genital surgery, genital reconstruction and penile implants for functional restoration and cosmetic enhancement.
Dr. Celtik completed his urological surgery residency and general surgery internship at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX mentored by Drs. Rose Khavari, Brian Miles and Ricardo Gonzalez. During his five-year surgical residency in Houston he participated in over 500 robotic surgeries while focusing on minimally invasive surgical techniques. He also spent time in Austin, TX for transgender-specific training with Dr. Crane and Dr. Santucci.
Dr. Celtik received his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine where he graduated with a Distinction in Research, Excellence in Urology and he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society. Prior to medical school, he received his Master of Science (M.S.) in Human Nutrition from Columbia University in the City of New York which now informs his pre-operative and post-operative care plans. He is a California native who was born and raised in Orange County, and completed his undergraduate education (B.S.) at the University of California, Berkeley.
Dr. Celtik offers Primary and Revision Robotic Peritoneal Flap Vaginoplasty, Penile Inversion Vaginoplasty, Orchiectomy, Vulvoplasty/Minimal Depth Vaginoplasty, Metoidioplasty, Scrotoplasty, Phalloplasty, Penile Implants, Testicular Implants, Urethroplasty and revision of complications of both masculinizing or feminizing surgery.
Dr. Celtik practices exclusively with the Crane Center for Transgender Surgery in Greenbrae, California.
Dr. Celtik is a member of WPATH and the Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons.
