Dr. Angela Rodriguez is the most recent addition to our team at the Crane Center for Transgender Surgery. A board-certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Rodriguez comes to us with fourteen years of Craniofacial, Aesthetic and Pediatric Plastic Surgery experience.
Dr. Rodriguez spent the earlier part of her career dedicated to the care of children with facial congenital anomalies or disfigurement as a result of accidental trauma. She served for several years as Plastic Surgery Director of the craniofacial anomalies clinic at Valley Children’s Healthcare in Central California. Dr. Rodriguez’s eagerness to be at the vanguard of social change and commitment to transforming lives has brought her focus into becoming an expert in all aspects of transgender care.
Dr. Rodriguez completed her internship and residency in surgery as well as a fellowship in Plastic Surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. She elected to pursue an additional subspecialty fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery at Stanford University. She spent two years at Harvard University as a research fellow and earned her medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia.
Dr. Rodriguez has a special interest in rhinoplasty and Facial Feminization Surgery. She also performs Breast Augmentation, Orchiectomy, Vulvoplasty, Vaginoplasty and FTM Top Surgery. She is thrilled with the opportunity to serve the transgender community.
